How engagements work
Start with the decision you need. Inventory, assessment, and a prototype are separate possible scopes, not a mandatory package.
Evolext work is research-, assessment-, and prototype-stage. Guidance and source findings do not establish production readiness, compliance, or universal security.
- 01
Inquiry and fit
Share a high-level objective and system outline. Evolext reviews fit and may clarify or decline; receipt is not acceptance.
- 02
Scope and proposal
Agree systems, exclusions, outputs, customer owners, acceptance criteria, schedule, and fees before commitment.
- 03
Authorization and handling
Confirm written authorization, approved collection methods, permitted recipients, and retention or deletion arrangements. Do not send secrets or reports through the inquiry form.
- 04
Investigate the agreed boundary
Customers supply approved evidence and confirm owners. Evolext reconciles observations and gaps, or runs the agreed laboratory tests. Missing evidence is recorded, not treated as a pass.
- 05
Review and completion
Review outputs against agreed criteria with decision owners. Record corrections, unresolved items, failed tests, and limitations. Completion can recommend revising, deferring, or stopping.
- 06
Handoff and later review
Deliver the evidence register, decisions, remaining risks, and assigned next actions within scope. The customer owns production approval. Further engineering or reassessment needs a separate agreement.
Scope, schedule, and fees depend on system boundaries, available evidence, dependency complexity, and testing requirements. They are agreed in the proposal; an inquiry does not guarantee availability or create an engagement.
Next decision
Revisit the decision when dependencies change, vendor support becomes available or is withdrawn, requirements change, or tests reveal a new limitation. Keep owners, unresolved risks, and the reason for each review in the handoff record. Ongoing monitoring is not included by default.
